History


Marvol Museum generated from the first ever Russian Art Gallery in South Africa. It was launched on the 29th April 1993 in Centurion, near Pretoria and is committed to popularising Russian Art and Culture in South Africa. The Marvol Museum was created for the benefit of the public through the generosity of its founder, Russian-born businessman Dr Mark Voloshin and the Marvol Company.

During these six years, art lovers of the different South African towns - Pretoria, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Potchefstroom, Grahamstown , Muisenberg, Cape Town etc. had the pleasure to be acquainted with this unique collection and to enjoy different cultural events at the Museum.
